How to Play Ludo

Objective

Be the first player to move all 4 of your tokens from the starting yard to the home center.

Getting Started

Your tokens start in your colored yard. Roll a 6 to bring a token onto the board at your entry square.

Movement

• Tokens move clockwise around the shared track (52 squares).
• After going around the board, tokens enter your colored home column (6 squares).
• You need an exact roll to reach the home center.

Rolling a 6

• Rolling a 6 gives you an extra turn.
• You can use a 6 to bring a new token out OR move an existing token 6 spaces.
• Rolling three 6s in a row forfeits your turn.

Capturing

• Landing on an opponent's token sends it back to their yard.
• Capturing grants you an extra turn.
• Tokens on safe squares (star and entry squares) cannot be captured.

Reaching Home

• Getting a token home grants an extra turn.
• The first player to get all 4 tokens home wins!
